In May 2022 an international patent was registered that introduced a big product innovation by reducing the internal thermal resistance of the resistor package by a factor of between 2 and 10, compared to any competitor on the market. We have since the registered the patent in the US / EU (inc UK, Turkey) and Brazil.
We use traditional materials and the design ensures unprecedented thermal contact within the structure. That's right!! Our resistors discharge heat better, meaning they remain cooler where they need to and as result are more stable and robust.
UNDER PRESSURE?
We use the STEEL case intelligently, to evenly distribute pressure, keeping everything locked tight and close together, shortening the thermal path and minimising thermal resistance.
All materials have been chosen to balance function with reduced thermal resistance.

RIGOROUS TESTING
The SMART resistor has been tested rigorously under many different configuartions. In particular our DURA series has undergone harsh environment trials in, which its has completed testing for 60,000 continuous lifting cycles!!
